Leonor and Joy Goh duo are a Brazilian music duo comprised of Maria Leonor, a classically trained flutist and singer currently studying in the Classical flute department at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague, and Joy Goh, a guitarist who graduated from the Jazz department of the Royal Conservatory of the Hague.
In this project, we play Brazilian jazz.
What makes this project very special is that we are flexible enough to be instrumental / vocal.
In this duo, Leonor takes on the roles of flutist, vocalist, and Brazilian percussionist (Pandeiro), while Joy plays his guitar in the Brazilian 7-cordas (Baixarias) style.
They play instrumental music (Choro), and music with vocals (Samba, Pagode, MPB and Bossa Nova)
With their variety of multiple instruments and vocals, they promise to take you on a captivating journey through the variety of the Brazilian music in a single show.
